Beyond Maternity Leave
The Transition to Motherhood and Back Again!
with Onika Miller
Motherhood is one of the most significant transitions a person can experience. While much attention is given to pregnancy, birth and maternity leave, far less attention is given to what happens afterwards.
Many women find themselves navigating a new identity whilst balancing family life, career aspirations, wellbeing and professional responsibilities. Confidence can shift, priorities change, and the person who returns to work is often not the same person who left.
Beyond Maternity Leave explores the impact of motherhood on wellbeing, professional identity and leadership. Drawing on public health, leadership and organisational wellbeing principles, this webinar provides practical insights to help women navigate the transition back into professional life with greater confidence and clarity.
Topics include:
• The transition into motherhood and its impact on identity and self-perception
• Wellbeing, resilience and sustainable success
• Returning to work and navigating changing priorities
• Confidence, self-belief and professional growth
• Leadership, performance and personal wellbeing
• Practical strategies to support wellbeing and long-term career development
Whether you are preparing to return to work, recently returned from maternity leave, or balancing professional and family responsibilities, this session offers an opportunity to explore the realities of motherhood and professional life in a supportive and practical way.
